Mounting Tapes & Adhesives Tip: Removing mounting putty oil spots Oil is inherent in putty adhesives, because it keeps the material soft, malleable, removeable and reuseable. However, absorption will occur on certain porous wall surfaces. Dab a degreasing cleaner on the stained area. Don't rub, or you may damage the surface. After cleaning, touch up the spots with a solvent-based primer/sealer. We recommend Kilz Primer/Sealer, available at your local paint retailer. For more information, call 1-800-325-3552 or 1-800-733-4413.

These pipes feel the effects of cold weather first. If you're insulating the pipes to/from your water heater, leave at least 6" of uninsulated pipe near the exhaust.
